CBS Reveals that Swine Flu Cases Seriously Overestimated

Swine Flu Overestimated!Part 1

Swine Flu Overestimated!Part 2

Swine Flu Overestimated!Part 3

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) states on their main flu Web site http://www.cdc.gov/flu/ that flu activity is increasing in the United States, with most states reporting "widespread influenza activity."

The CDC goes on to say, and I quote:

"So far, most flu is 2009 H1N1 flu (sometimes called "swine flu")."

But wait stop the presses.

A three-month-long investigation by CBS News, released earlier this week that included state-by-state test results, revealed some very different facts. The CBS study found that H1N1 flu cases are NOT as prevalent as feared. A CBS article even states:

"If you've been diagnosed "probable" or "presumed" 2009 H1N1 or "swine flu" in recent months, you may be surprised to know this: odds ...

H1N1 Swine Flu Vaccine Ingredients

by Salvador on October 29, 2009 0 Comments

The H1N1 vaccine Arepanrix has been developed by GlaxoSmithKline using the egg-based production method. This means the vaccine viruses are grown in eggs. This is true for the regular flu shot as well. (For egg allergies, see: H1N1 and Food Allergies.)

The vaccine has two components that are mixed together before the vaccine is given. The primary substance is the antigen drug substance for immunizing. It is administered with an adjuvant known as AS03.

The antigen contains: thimerosal, a mercury-based preservative used in the manufacturing of multidose vaccines, sodium chloride, disodium hydrogen phosphate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, potassium chloride and water. As mentioned, there are traces of egg protein, and also of formaldehyde, sodium deoxycholate and sucrose.

The adjuvant AS03 is composed of: DL-alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E), squalene (shark liver oil) and polysorbate 80 (an emulsifier). In addition, its vial contains: sodium chloride, disodium hydrogen phosphate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, potassium chloride and ...

H1N1 flu virus 'miserable,' top doctor warns

October 24, 2009

Theresa Boyle

Health Reporter

Confirming for the first time that a second wave of the pandemic flu has a hold on Canada, public health officials are turning up the volume about the risks of the H1N1 virus in the face of anti-vaccine sentiment.

"This is a very real risk," Canada's chief public health officer warned. "Even in its mildest form, it's miserable and at its worst it kills or puts into ICUs and on ventilator support perfectly previously healthy, young people."

Dr. David Butler-Jones made his comments Friday in a teleconference as part of a full-court press to get every Canadian, 6 months old and older, inoculated against the pandemic virus.

And while children aged 9 and under are advised to receive two doses of the vaccine, new research indicates one may be enough, Butler-Jones acknowledged, urging parents ...

Although that's less than two-tenths of 1 percent of the 27,000-member student body, and no one has died or been hospitalized, the school has moved into action.

"The sanitizer's out," said Todd Cohen, director of university relations.

The university sent e-mails to faculty members ...

Swine flu here to stay: Experts

Swine flu here to stay: Experts

Swine flu viruses are missing at least two key features seen in all flu viruses present and past that transmit well among people and yet the viruses are spreading quite efficiently, two new studies suggest.

The research groups which produced the work differ slightly in their views of the degree to which the novel H1N1 virus is spreading, with one finding transmission isn't yet as efficient as with human flu viruses while the other finding transmission rates are in lockstep with those of seasonal flu cousins.

There is no disputing the evidence, though - the virus is spreading around the globe, claiming at least 332 lives so far. And it is doing this without all the tools scientists would expect a flu virus to need to become a successful human pathogen.

"The take-home message is that a virus that does ...
